The Year 10 trip to Israel, Shorashim, has been running for six years and is a highlight of the students’ High School experience. The tour itself is heavily subsidised, enabling the whole cohort to participate.

The students, along with selected teachers, spend an incredible three weeks in the land of their ancestors, immersing themselves in their Jewish heritage and culture. It is an experience where the lessons from the classroom truly come alive.

Participants daven at the Kotel, explore the Machane Yehuda markets in Jerusalem, ride camels in the Negev, climb the ancient fortress at Masada, float in the Dead Sea, and discover the old environments plus the new innovations that make Israel such a remarkable home for the Jewish people.
