Born 18 months apart, Dan and his younger twin sisters, Mia and Gabi, were thrilled to be able to celebrate their respective Bar and Bat Mitzvahs together. While Dan lained the Parsha, Mia and Gabi used their polished public speaking skills to deliver a Dvar Torah that centred around gratitude. And it is truly remarkable that these young people can have such a strong appreciation for all that life has blessed them with and gratitude that acts as an impetus to give back. Like apples and trees, these children have followed in their parents’ footsteps, contributing meaningfully to the community and giving of their time each week to Menorah Charity.

And we don’t quite know how they fit it all in! With the girls taking art classes, Dan smashing it out on the tennis court, and all three swimming many hours a week, it’s a wonder how they still have time to be bookworms too!

While Mia and Gabi are just looking forward to starting at the High School, Dan has set his sights on becoming a structural engineer. He already creates model skyscrapers out of bits and bobs in the kitchen!

Gabi, Mia and Dan are all proud of being Carmel Champion Swimmers - but we are so proud of the young menschen they are, full of delight, appreciation and kindness. Mazal Tov!
