On Tuesday 2 November, theÌýYear 2s travelled to the Swan Guildford Historical Society. They participated in a guided tour of the Colonial Gaol and 'Taylor's Cottage' where they were fascinated to learn that the Taylor family lived in small one bedroom cottage with thirteen children! They also discovered that in 1829, merit awards used to be made from wood with metal inserts.Ìý
