On Friday 13 August, our Year 4s put on a meaningful, fun and well-rehearsed presentation of dance and song with the serious undertone of explaining the value of being a mensch. They showed us how doing good deeds has such a transformative effect on us and those around us.

Morah Benn talked beautifully about this, then drew this assembly’s mensch from a hat full of names: it was Asher L! Mazal Tov Asher! Our Year 6s then presented the news – and we got to watch some hilarious video clips of teachers and students Ziplining at the Year 6 camp. It looked like a lot of fun!

Special thanks to Ms Doven (who, we're told, actually wrote one of the very catchy songs the students performed) and Mrs Butler for all their hard work in bringing this assembly to the stage.
